Is Beneful wet dog food in tubs dangerous or on a recall list? Answers at Dogster Answers.

I have not seen it on a recall list. But you are paying a lot of money for a tub that has water as the main ingredient. And it is kind of expensive for what you get. If you want something that is more of a wet food. Look for one that has broth not water

Many people have been complaining about their pets getting sick from that brand.(http://www.consumeraffairs.com/pets/beneful.html and on the Beneful facebook page) I personally wouldn't risk it. There are plenty of better foods out there anyway. dogfoodanalysis.com and dogfoodadvisor.com could be helpful in choosing a good pet food for your pup

Actually they have not appeared on the avma list of recalled products. Link here will give you every pet food recalled in the 2013 & 2012. https://www.avma.org/news/issues/recalls-alerts/pages/pet-food-safety-recalls-alerts.aspx But Beneful is not a high quality food. There are many better foods out there.
