Actually they have not appeared on the avma list of recalled products.

But Beneful is not a high quality food. There are many better foods out there.

Many people have been complaining about their pets getting sick from that brand.(www.consumeraffairs.com and on the Beneful facebook page)
I personally wouldn't risk it. There are plenty of better foods out there anyway.
dogfoodanalysis.com and dogfoodadvisor.com could be helpful in choosing a good pet food for your pup

I have not seen it on a recall list. But you are paying a lot of money for a tub that has water as the main ingredient. And it is kind of expensive for what you get. If you want something that is more of a wet food. Look for one that has broth not water
