Is a "hole" in head common in Boston puppies or is this a defect ? It goes away with age.

The Hole closed up by 4 weeks age . Out of 7 puppies, 3 have hole in head .

I'm not totally sure, but I know human babies aren't the only mammals with soft spots on their heads. I watched Growing Up... Marsupials, and a Wombat had a soft spot on her head. I think I want a Wombat.
JK... kinda :)

Here is a small notation.

I would advise you to take the remaining pups to the vet and get a evaluation.
It is possible that this will not close, it is not common with any particular breed to my knowledge.
but, I think an assessment would be good to do.
I feel the dogs can lead a normal life. In time maybe it will close.
Now that they have grown some I would if it were me a regiment of high protein food. It would be interesting to see if extra protein could help close the frontal of the skull.
Try Orijen or barking at the moon by solid gold.
I bought my boston at the age of 5-6 months and I did not see any hole.
I think they will be fine. But, take them to the vet soon.
