Bailey

I'm looking into getting Bailey a crate. She's 20" at the shoulder, and 70lbs. What size does she need?

Any brand recommedations would be nice too. Oh, and this is for a car (a four door sedan), not an airplane, so light weight and portability are a must. We've tried the seatbelts, and she twisted herself up and got herself so worked up that she threw up, a first for her in the car.

Poor baby!

I'd think that one of the purely metal cages might be lighter weight and more comfortable (more air circulation and visibility) for her.

What she needs in terms of size is something that she can comfortably stand up without having to hunch over, and also turn around and preferrably, to stretch out a bit when laying down.

I don't have a brand name for you, but I know they sell these adjustable cages like this in most dog supply catalogs.

I'd also look into the metal dividers that you can just put inbetween the front and back seats. A 70 lb dog is probably going to be most comfortable in the back seat of a sedan. In fact, I'm not even sure where you'd put a crate back there!
