i see you asked this a long time ago so my anwser may not even be helpful anymore so i apologise! i am a dog groomer and i love the wahl bravura cord/cordless clippers. cordless clippers only leave very short lengths but there are special attachment combs for these clippers that will allow you to leave the hair longer! best of luck!
