if a human swalloed a flea what will happen?

i have a cat who still might have fleas

Theoretically, a few things could happen. Technically, fleas can carry worms and eating a worm-infected flea can often lead to dogs contracting worms.

This is why it is important for dogs exposed to fleas to be treated for them as dogs often bite at their bodies and frequently swallow fleas. Same goes for cats.

However, I would think that other than that risk, the most likely thing is that nothing will happen. Or, you'll just be grossed out.

I'm not sure why you think you ingested one, but I wouldn't worry too much.
