I really want an italian greyhound should i get one ?
Well I´m ready for a dog. and after at least a year of endless research of dog behavious and all kinds of information I decided that i would like to get an IG.
I live in an Apartment, no fenced yard.(im not that rich ya know)
Yes there are lots of places i could take my IG for a run in a big open area or a fenced area) except its just not right outside my house
However im afraid that when im about to buy an IG from a breeder that breeder he may deny me because i dont have a giant house or a fenced yard. :S
I think after all my research and IG would be perfect for me.but im just afraid to get a "no" from a breeder.
and if i get that. how can i answer?
Im gonna buy all the stuff he needs and my home will be ready for a dog at least 6 months before i even buy one. then ill look for an ideal puppy and bring it home.And use all the knowledge i have about dogs.

An IG isrelated and like a sighthound, that means when they see something, they chase it down to catch it. For this reason, I would not let them off leash in a area until you are 100% sure they will come when you call. So you would want to make sure it is fenced so you could keep them from getting away. Also remember that an IG is very fragile. You would not want to rough house with the dog, and also you do not want them jumping around alot. You are just going to have to search and talk to people and tell them your situation and what you plan to do. zIf you get rejected, keep trying. Just talk to them and let them know you have done much research and understand the breed.
