The great thing about dogs is you don't have cook. I don't know about your dog's teeth but Nibbles loves baby carrots. I keep a bag in the fridge for him. Also, dogs like sweets so sliced apple or watermelon chunk would work. If you really want to make a treat your local library might have a doggy cookbook. Our does.

Three Dog Bakery has an AWESOME cook book full of different treats for your canine friend. They have a website www.threedog.com which has treats you can order and may have the book. Otherwise, you could look for the book on amazon. It has a ton of good recipes.

Frozen Yogurt! We take original, plain, all natural yogurt (available at any grocery store) and put a tablespoon into an empty ice cube tray, freeze, then serve. Our dog loves it! It's quick and easy!

If you want to get creative you can also freeze peanut butter cubes or blend blueberries or bananas into the plain yogurt.

Here is one recipe I use:
* 1 tablespoons of honey
* 3 tablespoons of peanut butter
* 1 ripe banana
* 16 ounces of plain yogurt

* Mix the peanut butter, honey, and fruit together until well blended.
(Mash with a fork or use a blender.)
* Add the yogurt and mix well.
* Freeze in ice cube trays.

Good Luck!!
