And, what exactly do you think we can do out here in internet land????
Part of being a professional dog walker/sitter is to get to know your clients BEFORE the owner leaves! A test run is always a good idea.
At this point your only option is to contact the owners and hope they have a friend or family member that can come in and handle this dog.
In the future, evaluate your clients BEFORE the owner leaves town and refuse any that you cannot handle.
