You can also look at specific breed characteristics at www.akc.org or Google the German Pinscher club. If you decide to get a puppy, I would recommend a structured obedience class. I prefer the Koehler method (you can find books online) but a good class is best. Enjoy your new puppy!

Google "German Pinscher" and look up the same on amazon or in your local library. You should get some results about GP books, tips and info. I can't tell you anything you don't know, as I don't know much about GP's nor do I know what you don't know about them!
