			<p>My dog prefers carrying his toys around instead of playing with them. He's done so since he was a puppy. I think he feels he should show off his trophy instead of destroying it, which could be what your wiener dog's doing, too.<br /><br />

			<p>At the age of 12, maybe the idea of having a toy is more fun then  making it squeak.  I used to have a dog that was a collie mix and he loved small toys,  He would get  many in his mouth at once and just carry them around.  I do not think  it is amything to worry about.  His play habits have just changed a bit as he has gotten older.<br /><br />
