How much are you feeding? Is he neutered? This is an age of rapid growth and hormones, many intact male dogs can be very skinny. However being underweight can also be from a host of other things, from not enough food to cancer. Without a LOT more information it is impossible to say if he is skinny because of age/growth or something else.
