I have an Anatolian shepherd mix that talks .It sounds absurd but repeats your syllables and can say hello ,momma and Pa

My dog is extremely vocal is this typical of certain breeds?

Some breeds are generally more talkative than others, but I think it mostly depends on the individual. Kali loves to talk. Once she starts, I usually can't shut her up. :)

Mine barks, howls, bellows, and makes other husky noises I cants describe. Some breeds are more vocal, and there's an element of personality in there, too, I think. Not sure about the Anatolian shepherd traits, but yours is lovely and looks very happy! Kudos to you for making that long drive!
