I have a seven year old Boston Terrier who seems to have separation anxiety.
Rocky is seven years old and is housebroken except that he urinates indoors when I leave the house. I know that he knows he's supposed to go outside. This behavior has been getting worse recently so I upped his exercise (now gets a 30min. walk every morning plus dog walker plus evening short walk) but that hasn't helped. Today I made him leave the bedroom while I was getting ready for work (he follows me everywhere) and he peed on the floor downstairs while I was home! Any ideas are appreciated!

If you are gone crate him
Some dogs like to hike their legs on things.
But usually these dogs are pretty good at staying housebroken.
I would see if the vet thinks there is a medical problem.
Maybe something has gone wrong with his bladder or your relationship.
They are sensitive and they don't like to be scolded or yelled at.
You possibly could get a cone like a construction one from the farm store and set it up outside let him use that for his peeing marker or maybe a big wood log or something natural like that. When he hikes his leg on it out there praise him
I would clean every single pee spot in your house with Natures Miracle so he won't re-scent it later.
