i have a jack russel terrier/border collie mix puppy and a black lab/ australian spepherd 2 year old.

they dont get along and the bigger one has tried to kill my puppy. the puppy has been hurt so bad that she has a big scar on her leg from a bite from the other dog, what can i do?

Are you sure the word 'kill' is really not 'dominate'? If you cannot keep the dogs separate and the big one really will hurt the little one, it is your responsibility to rehome her. Do not show the pup more affection than the other dog; he may be feeling resentment for the lack of attention that he is receiving. You did the right thing by getting a younger female, but some rescues just do not get along with other dogs due to mistreatment, abandonment, neglect in the past etc. Thanks for trying and only rehome as a last resort. Also make sure to discipline your dog each time he becomes violent with the littler dog, to show that his behavior is unacceptable. Reward them both together for any positive interactions that they may have with one another, and good luck! ^_^
