I have a dog who is leach trained but he get scared,growls,hids when other people put him on the leach

He is part Pitt, Black lab I was just wondering is it normal for a behavior like that

why are other people leashing him? I would leash him yourself and seperately socialize him.
He may not be use to having strangers lean over him. For some dogs that can be very threatening.
I would make sure you have a good environment for him and get him some obedience classes. Obedience doesn't cure being frightful or being aggressive but you can have fun with it and work on his confidence more. good luck.
