What did the vet say?? If it's a food allergy, Nutro's Natural Choice has a small breed grain free in turkey or fish you can try. Pedigree is not grain free, and grocery store foods will exascerbate the problem. Grain free, while pricey, is much cheaper than vet food, so give it an honest try before you spend hundreds on an allergy panel and precription medicines/food. Good luck!! ^_^

Feed a grain free, chicken free dog food. Feed Merrick, it's one of the best dog food that you can feed.

Depending on how complex her allergies are, you could look into trying an elimination diet, where you feed only two ingredients (say, beef and sweet potato) for a certain period of time - no treats or extras at all. If the problems begin to resolve, you can safely conclude that neither beef nor sweet potato are allergy triggers, and try adding ONE other type of food for the same period of time. If no symptoms occur, that food is safe too. If they do, go back to the original foods, let symptoms resolve, and try a new food.

Otherwise, upping the general quality of her food should help. Look for brands like Fromm and Orijen. Many (I'd say most) dogs have a poor reaction to brands like Pedigree. Going vegan is not necessary - dogs need meat, except in the cases of very rare health problems. Most likely she allergic to grain or an additive to processed food.
