Please repost, but let me try to be *pyschic. lol
Your gsd is entering her adolescent stage. This can last until she is 2 or 3 years old. In this time they are pushing limits, trying to find their place in both the world & their *pack. They seem to forget everything they knew as sweet pups & delight in blowing you off. You say *sit..they half-sit..you say *come...they look at you & saunter off.
The key to surviving this time is patience & training. Daily. Set your limits & NEVER let them take that inch. Never say "ok, just this once." They are looking to make sure you have the skills to be their leader & that you are trustworthy & consistent.
You have another fear stage coming..training & socializing will help you get through this. This will be the time that you *might see dog aggression crop up. Don't shut her off from other dogs..help her get through it.
