I forgot the dosage my vet said for giving my 40 lbs dog Immodium for diarrhea? Answers at Dogster Answers.

Call your vet. Do not go by the online answers. I am a vet tech. Dogs generally are prescribed a higher dose than humans do to the fact that they have different metabolisms and react differently to drugs. Their systems are not as sensitive as the human system therefore they will need more to make a difference.

If you can't get a hold of your regular vet, then I would call an emergency vet and ask. I've called emergency vets before and asked them questions. Good Luck!

call your vet. I've never given Immodium. They've suggested Pepto but never Immodium. feel better soon Ginger.
