I am going to buy a German Shepherd Puppy. Please help me
I have paid for a 2 Month Old German Shepherd Puppy. I am going to adopt a dog for first time. Please give me any Idea to care this puppy, regarding behavior. Because I don't want to make the puppy think himself as Pack Leader. Also what should I get really prepared for the new GSD puppy ...

PLEASE do a ton of research NOW on GSDs. They are wonderful dogs, but are not a great first time dog. They need firm, consistent, positive training..daily. No yelling or physical punishment.
They take up to 3 years to mature & their teen years can try the patience of Job!
Books by Pat Miller, O'Connell, Pryor, are great resources on positive training methds. "Train Your Dog Like a Pro", by Donaldson is superb.
Try to not worry about "Pack Leader" stuff...gsds want to please you..but they can be pushy if they lack confidence in your abilities. That is why consistent, daily training is vital.
Socialize your pup as soon as shots are UTD. Meet as many people, dogs, different places as you can. Tethering & crating will help with housebreaking. Again..no punishing accidents..ignore, clean, & pay better attention to his signs.

GSDs are my breed:I have had one, at least, in my life for the past 30 years

Also, PLEASE make sure the breeder you are getting this dog from has done all testing including hips (for hip dysplasia), elbows. for osteocondritis dissicans), spines (for DM), hearts (for aortic stenosis), and eyes for pannus and other defects. These are all hereditary conditions which plague GSD's and ALL can be tested for prior to breeding the parents. If your breeder has not tested the parents for all these conditions, RUN, don't walk away and find a better breeder!!!
GSD's can be great dogs as long as they are healthy!!!
