How/where do you put your dog has died?

Just got a dogster birthday greeting for my dog, who would've turned 15 today had he not died in june. I thought I'd put this out on th site when he died, but apparently, I did it in the wrong place or it didn't register. Though Gabe lives on in my heart, the electronic good wishes are a bit heavy. I think part of the problem may be that he's on twice. btw, how can I get him some "wings". Thanks for the help. Best, Gabe's mom

Sorry you got that message from Dogster.
Here is how to change Gabe's page.
At the top of this page click my account
Next to Gabe's picture find Pet Page, click modify biography and traits
Click the red Story. Right under that is a small box to click "Gabe is no longer with us"
Be sure to scroll down to Save All and click.
That should take care of it for you.
Since Gabe is listed twice, you should check both of the pages. Looks like maybe you got one page but not the other.
As far as wings, you could request some in the Dogster Forum "saying goodbye: memorials and support". Someone will make some beautiful wings for Gabe.
Sorry for your loss.
