Dont mean to be mean. But DO NOT BREED YOUR DOG. There is pleanty of dogs and puppys in shelters all ready with out your dogs help. Get your dog FIXED. If you just want to raise a litter go to a pit bull resues and foster or adopt a pit all ready with puppys. And take care of them and help the shelter find them a good home

Read up...Just substitute Pit for Lab...Unfortunately the plight of the pitties is far worst.

Varies. Check out those links the others gave if you want to breed your dog. Breeding isn't all fun and games. It's work, heart-ache (if the mother and/or pups die, which is not uncommon), and very expensive.

Please, please don't breed your dog. It is REALLY hard to find GOOD forever homes for Pit Bulls; the shelters are OVERFLOWING with wonderful unwanted Pits.

You can't go by that. A dog can have one pup or 16/17 pups. But, if you are asking this, it is not good sign.
A particular breed doesn't have a certain amount of pups.
