How do you deal with a bad rescue organization?
What do you do when a rescue knowingly adopts a sick and aggressive dog to you, then refuses to respond to your repeated attempts to contact them.
We need to surrender our dog--he needs to be with someone who has the savvy to correct his behavior, but we refuse to give him back to this group. I found all sorts of lawsuits, cease and desist letters, and comments about the group knowingly adopting out sicks and aggressive dogs (unfortunately, I found this information after we adopted our dog).
I've already talked to Petfinder.com and they are looking into it. Any and all advice is appreciated.

I assume you need to report this to the state and tell them anything and everything about your experience with this rescue and go from there

I would call the MSPCA in Boston. They can probably help. At least they can investigate the rescue and have them shut down. They are just like police officers and can arrest people.
