How do we stop our dog from throwing up bile almost every night?
We have a three year old shiz-tzu/poodle mix who throws up bile almost every night since we got him at 4 months old. We have taken him to many vets, changed foods from kibble to homemade to raw and back to kibble. We have tried veterinary prescribed foods,, medications for stomach, and changing feeding amounts/times to no avail.He has an allergy to chicken so we have always had to watch what he eats. He is otherwise healthy and active, but the constant throwing up keeps us up nights. Is there anything we can do to stop him from throwing up? Any suggestions you can give would be greatly appreciated.

It could be a simple solution. His tummy could be empty and he's hungry. Those stomach acids might cause him to throw up.
This happened to Drover. Now I just make sure all the dogs have one or two small snacks right before bedtime. I haven't had problems since then.
