Whenever I take my dog/puppy outside she is contantly trying to look for and eat bunny poo and dirt for that matter. I feed her good food too she get Wellness brand. I don't know if it's bad for dogs to be eating this kind of stuff or not but it's gross!!

I've tried telling her "leave it", using a tone to let her know I disapprove taking her to a different area - which unknowingly has more bunny poo.

Help.?!

I can't really tell you why, but it is a dog thing. My JRT is sometimes going into my kitten's litter box and picks up the wintergreen minty poop to chew on.

I suspect is the texture of the chew, or even the taste. But it is common among dogs to each feceases (including their own).

Reputable pet stores sell a few brands of this specific chemical that's supposed to deter dogs from eating their own feces (probably changing the taste). Check to see if you can use that chemical for your bunny's poopie - or maybe their have their own brand.

I've heard, that the dogs eventually stop on their own. Mine did... and she just turned 1yr old.
