Super easy if you have a clicker, or use a marker word.
First warm up the clicker. Click then treat..no expectation. Soon the dog knows every time he hears a click he gets a treat. Then add his name. "Rex"..he looks..click/treat. Hold the treat up by your eye to lift his gaze. Once he is looking at you for his name, add the *watch me cue. Then you only click/treat when you say "Rex, watch me" & his eyes meet yours.
