How can I teach my dog to beg?

I know all of you are probably sick of all my questions but,I want to teach Silvia to beg but I will use the command "Stick 'em up!" and then go "Bang!" and have her play dead. She knows "Bang!",So how can I teach her to "Stick 'em up!"? She will do high 10 but won't hold it so that doesn't do any good. She is a big dog so keep in that in mind. Any and all ideas welcome! Thank you! :)

Beg is an easy trick if your dog has, shall we say, a big enough butt to balance on. Pepper's butt is too skinny. But my boys are built for it.

I started by leading them into a sit position, then raise the food lure slowly, up and toward the forehead. Go slow and reward even a moment on the rump with front feet up. Don't hold the lure too far up or she may try to jump for it.

Give it time she's still young and may not have developed the balance for this trick yet. With practice, and sufficiently gifted anatomy, she'll get it.

Once you get her sitting on her rump you can name it "beg".

Then work on adding a high ten with the beg to get you "stick-em-up".

You can also work on a "wave", which is a variation of the "high 5".
