Apples are perfectly safe. Myself and my brother both love apples, among other things (carrots, bananas, mango, and figs). Just make sure you don't allow your dog to eat the seeds as they are potentially poisonous. I've never witnessed a dog that was poisoned by apple seeds, but it is known that the seeds contain a very small amount of arsenic, so just be cautious about the seeds; I wouldn't fret if he gets a hold of one or two!

Apples are great for dogs!!!! Just not the seeds, they are poisonous. Abby like Apple slices with a little bit of peanut butter!

Oh yes, apples are great! Alex & Abby love them. They love lots of fruits and veggies (which is the only table food we give them).
Some of their favs are lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, bananas, and the other day Abby was caught sneeking a drink of my orange juice!

All of the fruits and veggies I can think of are good for dogs. EXCEPT for grapes and avacados. Everything else is fine- but remove all seeds and pits before feeding your dog any fruit.

If your dog will eat fruits, veggies, and fresh meats (NOT lunch meats, these are unhealthy and full of sodium), then include 1/4-1/3 of it in your dog's diet. As long as he's getting some balanced, quality dog food- there shouldn't be any vitamin deficiencies by replacing 1/4 of his diet with a large VARIETY of fresh, raw, healthy people foods.

Just avoid the typical junk foods like waffles, cookies, soda, juice, etc. Broccoli and cauliflour also gives dogs bad gas... so watch out. Having your dog eat healthier will probably also inspire you to do the same!
Some foods I have fed: Carrots, Bananas, Apples, Kiwi, Romaine Lettuce, Spinach, Cottage Cheese, Whole grain bread, unsweetened oatmeal, eggs, ground beef, chicken, turkey, bison, and rabbit, green beans, plain yogurt, liver, heart, peaches, pears

Apples, pears... love them! my mom says she wouldn't give me anything she would not give to a baby. You wouldn't give a baby chocolate, or grapes (choking hazard), or raisins (too harsh!) or tough vegetables like broccoli, but rice, corn, potatoes, and string beans, and most fruits are fine. I can't have dairy, cos it gives me a bad case of the poops, so be careful when handing out the cheese! Peanut butter is okay - especially when I have to take medicine! Bon appetit!

Clay R.I.P. my handsome boy!!

Apples are good in a small volume for your tiny one. Not a whole apple for the size.No seeds in any fruits they can be toxic to dogs.'
No grapes raisins or onions all can make our kids very sick!
