Hi my dog has a weird sort of welt on his forehead, any clue what it could be?

Molly is a wheaten-terrier and she's a two and a half female. The welt is a purple-gray-ish bump and comes away from the head connected by thin strand of skin. It sort of looks like a grain of corn or a popcorn kernel. Around it the skin is swelled and puple-ish. theres like dried up blood around it too. It's over her left eyebrow. Though it doesn't seem to bother her i'm worried what it could be. I've just noticed it and i'll only bring her to the vet depending on what it is and what my dad says it is.

Yeah, she needs a vet. If that thing were on your face or your dad's face, what would you do?

Sounds like it possibly could be a tick???? IF you do a google search you may find pictures that can identify it if it is a tick. That can be carefully pulled away if it is a tick, carefully being key word here.
