Guys... we may be a little harsh here... she only got Abby a bit ago, and Ashton is NEUTERED!!!
Sooo, somehow you need to come up with some money for a vet exam!!! Do check with the area shelters, they can help you here. Meanwhile, read, read, and read some more. You can make a nice bed for her with a big cardboard box that a TV or computer came in from Walmart or another store. Leave the sides high and cut a doorway for her to get in and out. The babies need lots of heat... a heating pad underneath them is a good idea and put them in a quiet place where the other dogs won't bother her. Now, go to the woodhaven link the others have given you... read, read, and read some more!!!
And, it IS possible that she is having a false pregnancy!!! Good luck!
She needs a vet, period. Regular vet trips with a pregnant dog is a must, especially if you have no experience or knowledge in this area. The good news is, this may be a false pregnancy, AKA a "phantom pregnancy". It means that she's showing all of the signs, but there are no puppies. But you'll need to see a vet to know for sure.
Here's a few options open to you:
-Locate a low-cost vet (ask the people at the animal shelter, they usually know about all of the vets in the area...some animal shelters even offer lost-cost to free vet service)
-Ask for donations (if you ask on here, get HQ's permission first)
-Sell an item that you do not need and use the money from that
-Set up a payment plan
If all else fails, the best option for me may be to give her away to a family who can afford medical bills.
Here's something that may encourage you:
My family is on a limited income, and below the US poverty level. However, we still take our dogs to the vet whenever we need to. Could we use help? Definitely. Have we been able to pay off the vet bills? Yes. We use a credit card if we need to.
Really if you have no money for a vet why did you get the dog in the first place. You are responsible for caring for her properly and if you can't do that find her a new home where some one can. honestly people!!!

BJ makes some good points. Gestation averages 63 days. If you have had her less than that, she may have been pregnant when you got her. I think some people dump females when they come into season. Females can also make amazing escapes their owners aren't prepared for when in season and get lost. That is part of the reason I push spay/neuter by 6 months.
I agree Woodhaven is a good place to start and have been suggesting it for years other places.
One important thing is to make the whelping box big enough that the mother can keep one end clean and stimulate the puppies to eliminate in the other.
Try to find somebody with some experience for hands on help. The net and books are a very poor substitute for it.
We got a dog who was pregnant when we got her and we didn't find out until we took her to have her spayed. It happens.
I would definitely look into a low cost vet to have her evaluated. Then you'll know for sure and you'll know when to expect the puppies and if everything is developing properly.
I know our vet's office will make payment arrangements with you if it's a costly service. It never hurts to ask.
Where did you get her from? If the shelter, you can call them and ask what to do.
It happens.
I understand the no money is the factor here.
Can you find a vet that accepts flex repay.?
Is there any clinics? Also, call some rescues and explain to them the dog came to you already pregnant.
There is alot to caring for a dog in whelp and the pups. You will need help. I don't know the exact answer.
I just hope all goes well for your Abigail, yes, she will be pregnant 63 days, but at this point you don't know exactly when she got pregnant, so she could be ready sooner than you think. I think someone gave you a link, follow that and seek a vet's help. I don't know if a vet would take them by c section then help you with the process, I think you have to search that vet out , they are out there , they may also have a rescue site for you to call as well.
