gnats off my dog

I give my dogs a bath on a regular basis, flea and tick shampoo, but I cant keep the gnats off one of my dogs, I treat the yard and areas he plays but they seem to follow him, Is there anything I can put on him when he goes out to keep the gnats off him? its mainly his back side they swarm, thanks
