For home baked dog treats, what can substitute for wheat flour?

I have a dog sensitive to wheat so don't want to use wheat flour for home baked dog treats. Is rice flour, or amaranth, or garbanzo bean flour, or any other flours (except corn, of course) suitable to substitute for wheat flour in making home-baked dog treats? Thanks to anyone who can answer, from Gus and Wally, Jack Russells

Yes,you can also use white flour, potato flour, and rye flour. These are the one's I use most when I'm baking my dog treats. Try these out they work great. I have a lab thats sensitive to a whole list of things and he does ok with these. I hope these help you out, from Faith,Dixie,& Blackjack, Labrador Retreivers
