dogs and periods

i know this question is kind of weird but do dogs know when women have their period? all the puppies where i used to work stuck their noses in my crotch when i had mine

yes, they can. Dogs like to EAT used tampons, ya know. Probably smells like food.
Dogs can also smell when a woman is ovulating, and when a person of either gender recently had sex.

Dogs are just programmed to notice stuff like that. It's why they sniff each other's butts, mainly to determine mating status.
