Dog gets protective over random items then gets nasty when we try & move item.
Item could be anything, could be anything in the room, she'll sit next to it & guard it, any interfearance she'll show her teeth & will jump to bite. Yorkshire Terrier. She can be lovely, then all of a sudden she'll get protective.

It is called resource guarding. I recommend the book called "MINE" by Jean Donaldson.
