Does full blooded retrievers have white on their fur? White toes, white on chest..etc?

Far as I know it's permissible to have some small white spots on toes & the chest.

Depends on what kind of retriever you are talking about.
Labs, Goldens, Flatcoats, Chessies and some others are not allowed white chests, feet, etc. according to their breed standards, but there are some retriever breeds such as the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever where white is permitted.
Check the breed standards for the breed you are asking about and it will tell you whether or not it is allowed and/or how much white is accepted according to their standards.
