Can you link the picture for people to see?

If she is black in color, she is most definitely not a Golden Retriever, because Goldens don't come in black, only shades of gold - from a dark red like an Irish Setter to a light cream color. Labradors, which are short-coated, come in black, chocolate, and yellow. She could be a Flat-Coated Retriever, if she looks like a Golden but is black - see, en.wikipedia.org
