Looks like a tinge of German shepard. Just because of the long nose and extra broad facial structure from the side.

The markings on his coat and his build are Australian Shepherd, could be a mixed breed but he doesn't really look like a mixed breed to me.

I dont see purebred in him he may be a mix of something but its hard to tell he does look like he has Aussie in him a lot for a fact he is beautiful

He sure looks like a pure bred Aussie, a tri colored Merle. He is a bit small, but his early malnutrition may account for that. Sure looks happy and well cared for now!

Yes. Or possibly a Border Collie/Aussie mix. Can't tell if he has a tail or not, but that's not definitive either... Some "breeders" dock the tails of crossbreds too, and some Aussie breeders leave them long. Indy's colors, coat type, and body build all say Aussie to me.
