do shih tzu get along with german shepherds

my friend has a german sheperd and i have a shih tzu and we see each other every day so we want them to get along well

I would take them both on a walk together with you and your friend in between them. That way, they are introduced in a neutral place, and they both will be on leashes, so you have better control if they don't get along. Kali loves little dogs and she's very gentle with them. But that doesn't mean all big dogs are like that.
