Could I make my farm dog comfortable in the city?

I just recently started college and my parents keep telling me my dog, Fonzie, is absolutely lost without me there. I miss him so much so I am planning to move to a small house in the city next year. Is there any way I could make my little kennel trained farm pup happy in the city? Or would it be better to just leave him at home and adjust to not having me around?

i would bring him with you and make a little kennel like you said and try to make city life as comfortable as you can possibly get it for him because it if he has grown up with you and is getting stressed without you there he might die from stress and if hes a hyperactive dog take him on walks and runs and to a dog park if the city your in has one
