can my senior pomeranian eat dry honey nut cheerios?
My senior pomeranian, Minnie, watches me give honey nut cheerios as treats to my puppies. But can she eat honey nut cheerios, too?

Yes, dogs can eat Honey Nut Cheerios! Don't give her too many, though. It does have sugar in it.

My dogs like them. Don't forget that there is sugar and salt in them though, so just a few bites for being so darn cute as pom's are. :o)

As a special snack, I don't see why not. My dogs (including my twelve year old GSD) get bits of things like that once in a while.

yep they contain sugar and also contain many artifical ingredients. Ask your friend to not feed her human foods.

Your better off offering some healthier meat-based treats. Although they are so small, a couple can't hurt.

I personally wouldn't feed this, but as long as it's just one or two per dog, it's probably just fine.
If she has any metabolic disorders at her senior age, the sugar can be very bad for her health.
But assuming she's in good health, then one or two every few days isn't going to hurt her.
