can my dog become ill after taking the medication soloxian? my vet ordered this for her on 06/28 and since is vomiting

my dog was given a change to her thyroid medication on the june 28 and started vomiting the next morning and is still vomiting. gave her some treats this morning thinking she may be OK but that caused her to vomit again this afternoon. will see the vet today, but want to know if you think the medicine could cause this type of reaction?

I would talk to your veternarian about this. My dog takes regular Thyro Tabs for his Hypothyroidism and never has had a reaction to it. It may be because of the sudden change in medication? It could be too strong for her to handle, making her sick.

Tell your vet. It is likely that the new medicine is causing her to vomit. They may put her on a different medicine. I hope she is okay!

Almost any medication can cause bad reactions. They may be uncommon, but nothing is 100% safe. Seeing the vet is the right thing to do.
