Can I transmit parvo to my dog if I had pet my neighbors dog that I didn't know had it and then pet my dog?

My neighbor had a puppy and both me and my boyfriend had pet the dog. It just recently died and my neighbor said it was from parvo. Is there any way my boyfriend or I could have given it to our dog?

Yes you can. It's highly contagious. If your dog starts with diarrhea and or vomiting, get him to the vet right away.

If you keep up with reguarly vaccinations your dog should be vaccinated against parvo since it is one of the main, and most important ones. If your dog isnt vaccinated, it should be. Take your dog to the vet to have him checked out.
