Camping with my dog now she is sick!!
Ok took my dog camping with us this week she was doing great running swimming sleeping good and had popped just fine. on our last night my boyfriend feed her out left over burgers. It was like about 1 1/2 burgers. didn't think anything of it. she drank the river water when she swam and bottled when she was in the camp. well our drive home the following morning she was panting we stopped for gas and water. she didn't didnk any she slept 3hours the whole drive back. we arrived and ahead still panting breathing hard. she is refusing water. will not touch it. this is now the 2nd day and has had the runs constanly. she eats but still has not touched water. she also shacks as if she had the chills and still panting. I don't know what to do... I feel like she might have gotten parvo or something... I'm worried...

Has she had all her shots including Leptospirosis? There are several things she could have picked up from the water and the woods. Some are very serious and some are not so serious. Getting her to drink water is very important if she has vomiting and/or diarrhea. If she's shaking, then she may have a fever. I would take her to the vet. Sometimes you can wait, and other times you shouldn't. Good luck with her and keep us posted. :)
