			<p>It is absolutely fine to keep a maltese's fur shorter. I think the only real reason to keep you maltese fur long is when they are show dogs or simply for looks. But keeping it shorter will help with not having to groom as often....they might look a little like a Lhasa apso with short hair but there is nothing wrong with that<br /><br />

			<p>Ya I think that all Maltese adults are long haired. U should brush them every day to make sure that its fur doesn't get into nots. And they should be taken to a groomer to get is fur trimmed to make sure it doesn't get to long. <br /><br />
