Any ideas for Post Lyme Disease Upkeep? Thanks
Dog had the snap test and this year, vetman said, very very low positive showed up, put her on antibiotics, she still has the problem every now and then of limping, is there a post treatment that I can do, she takes Missing Link everyday with her food. Thanks so much, love this little girl and do not want her to suffer.

Has your Vet suggested, or have you had a Lyme Quantitative C6 Antibody Test (aka Quant C6) performed? The Snap Test only tests for "exposure" (antibody population due to Lyme bacteria exposure). Just b/c you test positive on the Snap test, it does NOT mean that you have an active Lyme Infection. The Quant C6 test can determine whether or not there is an active Lyme infection.
Given your age, there's a high probability (especially since you have been exposed to Lyme) that there's something more going on here. Osteoarthritis, Degenerative Joint Disease, etc. And Doxycycline has no effect on a non-bacterial disorder.
If you've not had a Quant C6 test performed, I'd highly recommend it. If it comes back "positive" (high antibody), then antibiotic treatment is definitely in order. However, if it comes back "negative" (low antibody), I'd look to some other source for your lameness.
It may be as simple as a Glucosamine/Chondroitin/MSM/EFA supplement.
