First, she is a puppy, so she may grow out of it.
I deal with a lot of dogs and get more than my share of carsick fosters (one pooped and threw up in my purse lol). I always start minimal and move up till I get to the needed level.
Ginger in any form. I like ginger snaps about an hour before we leave.
Next step, Dramamine. Talk to your vet about dosage, but my vet said weight does not matter, just give one, but it will make your dog drowsy.
Last resort, cerenia. It's a prescription, but it works by blocking the centers of nausea in the brain and the dog can't throw up.
Food luck!

My last dog got carsick a couple times and my vet told me that if you have on the AC or the heat it can cause some carsickness in dogs, and Roscoe's vet suggested to leave the back windows down a crack year round, and that helped him tremendously. Though Star is still a puppy and she still may grow out of it. If it is too bad you can always call your vet and see what they would suggest for her, as all dogs are different.

My Bruno gets carsick and throws up on almost every long (over 1 hour) drive he goes on. I notice he is better when he rides in other people's cars (with them driving) so I think part of it is my driving style (lol) and my vehicle (old rattletrap with very loose suspension). I try to drive more carefully and I let him hang his head out the window (fresh air seems to help him.) I didn't notice any difference when feeding him ginger before going on a drive, but maybe I need to up the dosage.
Also- keeping an old towel/blanket on the seat helps ENORMOUSLY in dealing with vomit- Also a roll of paper towels in the trunk.

You can try giving her some peppermint before she gets in the car. Just like for people, peppermint helps calm the stomach. Another option is PETfection Happy Tummy Treats. They are all natural treats; I have used them on my weim when he had a really bad upset stomach, diarrhea faze and they helped soooo much. They would be great to give to your dog before the car ride (may 30min or so) to help prevent the car sickness. Plus you can give them anytime he has an upset stomach or after he gets out of the car. You can check them out at www.myPETfection.com for more info. Hope this helps!

One she is young and might outgrow it. My Molly used to get really carsick which sucked because she travels everywhere with me. I started by taking short trips and stopping when she started acting sick. Taking a break and then continuing. Then when I absolutely had to take her on a long trip I would hold her feed until we got to where we were going. After a while of doing this she got over her carsickness. It took about 6 or 8 three hour trips for her to stop being sick in the car. This method basically desensitizes them to the movement. Hope this helps.
