A 2 yr old terrier mix that i am considering adopting has had flea dermatitis and lost some hair. Will it come back. also she had puppies one month ago. Will her udders/teets go back to naormal. Can flea dermatits be treated with regular flea prevent or is this a high cost care?

Flea dermatitis is just an extreme reaction to flea bites- the hair loss is not caused by the bites per se, it's the scratching and licking the poor tormented dog does to herself. So if you can keep the fleas off her, the skin problem should go away (assuming the diagnosis was correct.)
Bitches often lose a lot of their hair after giving birth too, so that may also be affecting her. Her mammaries will probably shrink down a lot when she dries up, but will never be as small as a dog who hasn't given birth and nursed puppies.
