Are Whippets good apartment dogs (if walked adequately)? Do they chew furniture? & get along with cats or small dogs?

They can be good apartment dogs if given the amount of exercise they need. Most puppies of any breed do chew furniture, you have to correct the puppy and train the puppy not to chew the furniture. Bitter apple spray will stop any puppy from chewing on furniture. They CAN be trained to get along with cats and small dogs but they will usually try and kill cats and small animals. However, I have seen Whippets get along and live their whole lives with cats and small animals.

Whippets. Like other sight hounds. Will need a place where they can get out and burn off some energy. They can be calm in the house. And will Luke a nice soft spit to sleep on. As far as cats. You need to start early training them the cats are not prey. I have salukis. And we start right away training them not to go after the cats and just them. Because if it runs. They go after it
