4year old labradoodle starting to show aggression
I have a 4 year old labradoodle who we have had since he was a pup he has been the best loving dog great with the all people, kids and other animals we got a puppy about 6 months ago and twice in the past three months he has gotten aggressive over food/treats with us I make sure I feed him first and give him his treat first along with extra attention separate from the new puppy I'm just worried he is gonna bite someone any advice is greatly appreciated

Seeing as it didn't come up until getting another dog, though, it also sounds like he's jealous. I had that problem when adding a second dog to my family as well. I'm not completely sure what to tell you on that, as I'm not sure I handled it correctly with my dogs. (Following the suggestions in the link should be of at least some help.) I pretty much got onto her so much that she eventually did nothing when I paid attention to the other dog. Not sure I'd recommend that, as it did aggravate her and possibly put the other dog in some amount of danger of redirected aggression. I'll venture to say that time seemed to help her adjust.
Hopefully someone else has some tips on that.
