What the Woof and Meow? Online Pet Community Announces That 2nd Annual World's Coolest Dog and Cat Show Is Underway and Breaking Records

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - November 13, 2006

To celebrate and showcase these prized pooches and photogenic felines, the company also announced that the Second Annual World's Coolest Dog and Cat Show is underway and outpacing last year's phenomenal number of entrants and votes at www.dogster.com/show06/.

By entering the 2nd Annual World's Coolest Dog and Cat Show, every dog or cat that calls Dogster and Catster home has the opportunity to show off its good, or not-so-good, side to win in one of 16 categories from craziest tail to naughtiest pet. To enter, dogs and cats simply mug for the camera, submit a photo and then place a vote. Because Dogster, Inc. is the home of the "everydog" and "everycat," contest winners will be selected by popular vote and will not be based on the animal's pedigree. Last year the contest garnered over 22,000 entries and over a million votes, making it the largest online pet show in the world -- and this year, votes have already topped a million.
